Job summary

MoveSmart Rentals is seeking an experienced Inbound Sales Consultant to engage property owners and residential operators who have already expressed interest in leasing services. This fully remote role operates on Eastern Time and focuses on turning warm leads into signed leases.

You will respond to inbound inquiries, conduct professional video demonstrations, address objections, and close qualified clients, with a structured handoff to the Account Manager for seamless onboarding.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years in inbound, consultative, or high-ticket sales roles.
• Proven ability to convert warm leads by phone and video.
• Experience qualifying prospects, conducting demonstrations, handling objections, following up, and closing.

Responsibilities

Inbound Sales Consultant — Remote, Eastern Time

Turn warm interest into signed business—and help property owners solve the expensive problem of vacancy.

MoveSmart Rentals is hiring an experienced Inbound Sales Consultant to work with property owners and residential operators who have already expressed interest in our leasing services.

This is not a cold-calling or script-reading role.

You will respond to warm inbound leads, understand each prospect’s leasing problem, conduct professional video demonstrations, address objections, close qualified clients, and complete an organized handoff to the Account Manager.

We help position and market properties across many rental channels. Our team manages inquiries, showings, applications, offers, lease preparation, and move-in.

What you will do

• Respond promptly and professionally to inbound calls and inquiries
• Learn about each prospect’s property, vacancy, timeline, challenges, and urgency
• Clearly explain MoveSmart’s services, platform, process, pricing, and next steps
• Schedule and confirm video demonstrations
• Lead confident, engaging, on-camera platform demonstrations
• Connect MoveSmart’s solution to the prospect’s specific leasing problem
• Answer questions and address objections related to pricing, service, timing, technology, and trust
• Ask qualified prospects to move forward
• Follow up consistently with prospects who are still deciding
• Guide new clients through the agreement and sign-up process
• Maintain accurate CRM notes, lead stages, follow-up tasks, and outcomes
• Complete a clear handoff to the assigned Account Manager so the client does not need to repeat information

Who we are looking for

You can build trust quickly, explain a detailed service in simple language, and confidently guide a sales conversation toward a decision.

You should have

• Three to five or more years of full-time inbound, consultative, inside, account-executive, or high-ticket service sales experience
• A proven ability to convert warm leads by phone and video
• Experience qualifying prospects, conducting demonstrations, handling objections, following up, and closingConfidence appearing on camera
• Strong spoken and written English
• Excellent CRM, pipeline-management, documentation, and follow-up habits
• The ability to manage multiple leads and demonstrations simultaneously
• Experience working full-time in a professional remote environment
• A calm, credible, consultative, and persuasive communication style

A bachelor’s degree is preferred. Strong equivalent sales experience will also be considered.

Experience in residential leasing, property management, PropTech, real estate, SaaS, insurance, mortgages, financial services, home services, or B2B sales is an asset.

Remote-work requirements

This is a full-time remote position requiring Eastern Time availability.

• Internet speed of at least 100 Mbps

Compensation and application

This position offers base pay and commission. Complete compensation details will be discussed during the interview process.
