Job summary

Confidential in Bolton, Ontario is seeking an Inbound Logistics Coordinator to manage inbound shipments, purchase orders in Business Central, and receipt verification.   • Proficient in MS Suite, Advanced knowledge of MS-Excel is an asset.
  • Strong Experience in ERP systems.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and monitor inbound shipments of raw materials and packaging materials.
  • Create, issue, and manage purchase orders in Business Central, ensuring accuracy and timely supplier communication.
  • Track open purchase orders and follow up with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery.
  • Maintain records of purchase orders, receipts, receiving discrepancies, and inventory transactions.
  • Review Bills of Lading and receiving documentation for shipment verification.
  • Verify receipts against logs and investigate discrepancies as required.
  • Maintain and update receiving logs, checklists, and shipment tracking records.
  • Monitor domestic and international shipments and provide updates on delays and arrivals.
  • Coordinate customs clearance documentation and support payment processing for imports.
  • Schedule inbound deliveries with suppliers and warehouse teams.
  • Support supplier onboarding activities and system setup.
  • Investigate inventory discrepancies and support supplier corrective actions.
  • Assist with supplier performance monitoring and scorecards.
  • Maintain inventory accuracy through timely transaction processing and reconciliation.
  • Identify inbound material risks and support mitigation efforts.

Job Title: Inbound Logistics Coordinator

Reports to: Supervisor, Procurement and Transportation

Position Summary
  • Coordinate and monitor inbound shipments of raw materials, packaging materials
  • Create, issue, and manage purchase orders in Business Central, ensuring accuracy and timely supplier communication.
  • Track open purchase orders and follow up with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery and resolve shipment delays.
  • Maintain accurate records of purchase orders, receipts, receiving discrepancies, and inventory transactions.
  • Review Bills of Lading (BOLs) and receiving documentation to ensure accurate shipment verification.
  • Verify receipts against receiving logs and investigate discrepancies as required.
  • Maintain and update local and import receiving logs, checklists, and shipment tracking records.
  • Monitor domestic and international shipments and provide timely updates on delays, risks, and expected arrivals.
  • Coordinate customs clearance documentation and support payment processing for imported shipments.
  • Schedule inbound deliveries with suppliers and warehouse teams to supportreceiving capacity and production requirements.
  • Support new supplier onboarding activities, including documentation and system setup.
  • Investigate and elevate quality, receiving, and inventory discrepancies while supporting supplier claims and corrective actions.
  • Assist with supplier performance monitoring, scorecards, and performance reviews.
  • Maintain inventory accuracy through timely transaction processing and reconciliation activities.
  • Proactively identify potential inbound material risks and support mitigation efforts to minimize production impacts.
Employee Collaboration
  • Communicate supply risks, material shortages, and delivery issues to cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with Procurement, Planning, Quality, and Warehouse teams to ensure material availability and inventory visibility.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance inbound logistics processes, supplier performance, and operational efficiency.

  • Responsible for supporting safe, respectful, and productive work environment
