Ashley Canada - The Dufresne Group is seeking a part-time Warehouse Merchandise Handler in Whitby to support in-store merchandising and warehousing functions at 1650 Victoria St E, Whitby, ON. The role focuses on visual presentation, inventory, and customer service.

The position requires physical fitness to lift up to 100 lbs, plus the ability to work retail hours including days, evenings, weekends and holidays. Immediate staffing needs are noted with opportunities for growth within the company.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 6 months to 1 year related experience is an asset.
• Ability to work retail hours (days, evenings, weekends, and holidays).
• Experience with MS Office and ability to learn in-house inventory management system.
• Physically fit and able to lift and move objects up to 100 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Provide efficient and accurate support related to visual presentation, warehousing, customer service, pickups, movement of goods & merchandising.
• Be responsible for store maintenance - including the exterior of the building.
• Receive product and prepare outbound shipments.
• Prepare product for floor placement or delivery.
• Maintain and provide accurate inventory documentation.
• Load and unload freight trailers.
• Keep the warehouse area organized and clean.
