Job summary

Michaels Stores in Greenfield Park, QC is seeking a team member to deliver friendly customer service, help shoppers find products, and ensure a fast, accurate checkout experience. You will contribute to a well-merchandised, in-stock store and support store recovery standards.

This role involves assisting with inventory, resting shelves, and engaging customers on rewards programs, with a focus on safety and teamwork in a busy retail environment.

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions.
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards.
• Engage customers on the Benefits of the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and complete enrollments.
• Educate customers on the Voice of Customer (VOC) survey.
• Assist with Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS).
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes.
• Maintain merchandise recovery and store recovery to ensure a well-merchandised and in-stock store.
• Perform Store In Stock Optimization (SISO) and AD set duties as assigned.
• Support shrink and safety programs.
• Adhere to SOPs and Company policies; ensure compliance with laws.
• Interact with others in a respectful, positive manner; promote the organization’s vision and values; be a role model.
• Cross trained in Custom Framing selling and production.
