Job summary

Fairmont Hotels & Resorts is seeking an In-Room Dining Manager in Vancouver to lead and oversee operations in delivering exceptional service.

This hands-on leadership role involves mentoring a dynamic team, ensuring timely service, and collaborating with culinary teams to enhance the guest experience. Ideal candidates will have previous leadership experience in Food & Beverage.

What You Will Be Doing
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the In‑Room Dining team, fostering a culture of excellence and engagement
  • Oversee all aspects of the In‑Room Dining operation, ensuring service standards are consistently met
  • Ensure timely and accurate delivery of food and beverage orders to guest rooms
  • Monitor quality, presentation, and consistency of all menu offerings
  • Collaborate with the Culinary team to enhance menus and create innovative guest experiences
  • Handle guest feedback and resolve concerns promptly and professionally
  • Manage scheduling, labor costs, and departmental productivity
  • Maintain compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards
  • Identify opportunities to improve service, increase revenue, and enhance operational efficiency
  • Train and coach team members on luxury service standards and product knowledge
  • Other duties assigned
Qualifications
Your experience and skills include:
  • Previous leadership experience in Food & Beverage, preferably in a luxury hotel environment
  • Strong understanding of In‑Room Dining operations and service standards
  • Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop a high‑performing team
  • Exceptional guest service and communication skills
  • Strong organizational and problem‑solving abilities
  • Ability to work in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment
  • Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Serving It Right certification required

Your Team And Working Environment: You will lead a dynamic In‑Room Dining team, delivering personalized service directly to our guests’ rooms. This role requires strong collaboration with Culinary, Stewarding, and Front Office teams to ensure a seamless and elevated guest experience.

Visa Requirements: Must be legally eligible to work in Canada. The hotel is unable to assist candidates in obtaining Canadian work authorization.
