Job summary

Adult & Teen Challenge of Central Canada is seeking an Addiction Recovery Support Staff to supervise clients, maintain program structure, and support daily operations within the in-residents program at our Steinbach campus.

The role emphasizes safety, compassionate guidance, and participation in activities, meals, transportation, and chapel services as part of a Christ-centered recovery environment.

Qualifications

• Education in addiction services, ministry, social work or related fields is an asset.
• Strong relational and communication skills when interacting with clients and staff.
• Ability to work calmly in a structured residential environment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise clients and maintain program structure across shifts.
• Encourage healthy routines, accountability, and respectful behavior.
• Observe and report behavioral, emotional, or safety concerns.
• Support daily structure, activities, transportation, and events.
• Assist with medication procedures as applicable.
• Respond to incidents, emergencies, or crises.
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and campus safety.
