About You

Job Responsibilities

As a tutor, you will deliver targeted, 1-on-1 and (potentially) group instruction to a diverse range of students, adapting your teaching approach to meet each individual's unique learning needs.

Your primary duties include guiding students through daily homework, clarifying complex classroom concepts, breaking down major assignments, and introducing advanced material to keep learners ahead of their school pacing.

Operating across both in-person sessions and virtual environments via Google Meet, you will track student progress, foster academic confidence, and maintain a supportive, engaging environment that helps every student achieve their academic goals.

Required Skills

To succeed in this role, candidates must possess strong subject-matter expertise across their approved subjects, encompassing both middle/high school curricula and university-level coursework. Essential pedagogical skills include the ability to deliver differentiated instruction tailored to diverse age groups, guide students through complex assignments, re-explain difficult concepts, and teach ahead of school pacing.

Technical proficiency with Google Meet, digital whiteboards, screen sharing, and interactive remote learning tools is required, along with a reliable high-speed internet connection and functional laptop. Additionally, strong interpersonal skills-such as adaptability, patience, empathy, and excellent time management-are crucial for effectively managing sessions, fostering student confidence, and building rapport across all grade levels.
