Job summary

Oxford Learning Milton is seeking an in-person Supply Teacher for private elementary education in Milton, Ontario. The role covers Grades 1-8 across five combined classes, with daily lessons prepared by homeroom teachers and delivered from 8:00 am to 3:30 pm.

The successful candidate will hold OCT with Primary/Junior or Junior/Intermediate qualifications, have classroom experience, and be comfortable working with up to 12 students. Relocation not provided; vulnerability screening required.

Qualifications

• Ontario OCT with Primary/Junior or Junior/Intermediate Qualifications
• Teaching experience in Primary/Junior/Intermediate divisions
• Additional Qualifications are assets
• Experience in Independent School environment is an asset
• Knowledge of Kindergarten to Grade 8 Ontario curriculum

Responsibilities

• Deliver creative, comprehensive lessons prepared by homeroom teacher from 8:00 am to 3:30 pm
• Teach classes of approximately 12 students across Grades 1-8
• In-person role with commuting to Milton location
• Communicate with ease and confidence and support diverse learners
• Plan and organize to support student learning and engagement
