Desjardins invites applications for Articling Students in its Aurora, Toronto, and Mississauga offices. The temporary 8-month position offers hands-on experience in insurance defence and civil litigation, managing files from inception to completion while supporting multiple lawyer teams.

Candidates should have a law degree (LL.B./J.D.) from a Canadian university or NCA qualification, with strong English proficiency and at least two years of relevant experience.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in law or in a related field.
• Completion of law degree (LL.B. or J.D.) from a Canadian University or NCA qualification.
• Proficiency in English due to duties and interactions with partners, members and clients.

Aufgaben

• Independently carry a case load of litigation files from start to finish.
• Work with in-house counsel on insurance defence, subrogation and civil litigation files.
• Attend proceedings, draft documents and shadow lawyers.
