Recruiting In Motion - Eastern Ontario is assisting a North York area distribution company in recruiting for an experienced Bookkeeper to manage full-cycle accounting and financial reporting. This hands-on role requires ownership of the accounting function and close collaboration with management.

The position involves preparing monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements, completing reconciliations, and supporting payroll, AP/AR and inventory accounting as needed.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Extensive experience with Canadian accounting practices.
• Strong full-cycle accounting and financial-statement preparation experience.
• Hands-on, stand-alone accounting position experience.
• Strong reconciliation, reporting and analytical skills.
• Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Organized, dependable and able to work independently.
• Comfortable completing a technical accounting assessment.

Responsabilités

About Our Client
