Job summary

Access Healthcare Services Inc. is seeking Registered Nurses and Registered Practical Nurses for in-home, visit-based care in Winchester, Ontario. Earn CAD 28.50–39.50 per hour as a full-time team member in a supportive home and community setting.

We offer a $250 referral bonus, CCPN grant eligibility, company health and dental benefits, RRSP match, devices, paid mileage, shift premiums for evenings and weekends, and paid training. Flex hours and CNO registration support are also provided.

Qualifications

• Must be RN or RPN in good standing with CNO.
• Proof of Covid-19 vaccination.
• Vehicle required with valid driver’s license.
• Car insurance with liability of $2 million.
• Valid CPR.
• Step 2 TB Test (within last 2 years).
• Vulnerable Sector Police Check (less than 3 months old).
• Excellent assessment, documentation, verbal, and communication skills.
• 1 year community nursing experience preferred but not essential.
• New graduates welcome to apply.
• Bilingualism considered an asset.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-home, high quality client centered care.
• Complete comprehensive client assessments to develop collaborative, holistic care planning.
• Work to the full scope of practice as outlined by the CNO Professional Standards and AHS policies.
• Upholds the mission, vision and values of AHS.
• Adheres to infection, prevention & control measures and nursing best practice standards.
• Participates in ongoing continuing education and professional development.
• Reports, consults and collaborates with members of the interdisciplinary health care team.
• Participates in the on-call nursing rotation.
