Job summary

Home Instead in Cochrane area is hiring Care Givers to join our growing team. We seek compassionate individuals with a can-do attitude who enjoy helping seniors live safely and independently at home.

The right candidate will have a valid class 5 driver’s license and reliable transportation, good English communication, and the willingness to perform personal care, housekeeping, meal prep, and mobility support.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 5 driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Excellent English written and verbal communication.
• Experience in healthcare, hospitality, or in-home care preferred (min 1 year).
• Willingness to work consistent weekly shifts.
• Clear criminal background and Vulnerable Sector checks.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal hygiene assistance and daily living support.
• Assist with mobility, doctor appointments, and transportation.
• Plan and prepare meals and assist with shopping.
• Perform light housekeeping and report incidents.
• Engage clients with activities and companionship.
