Job summary

Home Instead is hiring Professional Caregivers to support clients in Chatham-Kent and surrounding areas. This flexible, part-time or full-time role focuses on in-home care, companionship, and assistance with daily living activities to enhance safety and comfort.

Ideal candidates have a PSW certification (or in progress), English communication skills, and a valid driver’s license. Competitive pay is offered, with paid training and flexible scheduling. Benefits after 6 months may apply.

Qualifications

• Compassionate and dedicated to helping clients
• Strong communication skills in English are required
• PSW certification or in progress is preferred
• Previous caregiving experience is an asset
• Valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle
• Ability to pass a criminal background check and provide two references
• Availability to work every other weekend

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and support to clients in their homes
• Assist with light housekeeping and household tasks
• Prepare and cook simple meals based on clients’ needs and preferences
• Offer companionship and engage clients in meaningful conversation
• Support daily living activities to ensure safety, dignity, and comfort
