Job summary

Tekion Corp in Calgary is hiring an Implementation Specialist (Business Solutions Analyst I) to support delivery and implementation of scalable Tekion solutions. You will gather requirements, document processes, assist with configuration, and help with testing to ensure successful deployments.

The role requires 2–4 years of experience in Automotive Fixed software, travel up to 90%, and a Bachelor's degree in a related field.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field (Business/Information Systems/CS)
• 2–4 years of experience implementing Automotive Fixed (Parts & Service) software
• Calgary location preferred
• Basic proficiency with Microsoft Excel and process mapping tools (Lucidchart or Visio)
• Familiarity with enterprise systems (CRM, ERP, PSA) is a plus
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Willingness to learn project delivery methodologies and enterprise platforms

Responsibilities

Job Introduction

The Implementation Specialist (internal title Business Solutions Analyst I) supports the delivery and implementation of scalable solutions within Tekion’s Professional Services organization. This role assists with gathering business requirements, documenting processes, supporting configuration, and contributing to testing efforts. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytically minded, and motivated to learn how technology can improve operational efficiency and customer experience.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist in collecting and analyzing business and functional requirements to support solution development
• Document current- and future-state business processes, workflows, and system interactions
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify pain points and recommend areas for improvement
• Participate in system configuration, testing, and user acceptance activities

• Maintain project deliverables and assist in tracking milestones and timelines
• Perform basic data analysis to support solution design and post-implementation success

Basic Qualifications

• Position requires 90% travel
• Position requires 2-4 years of experience implementing Automotive Fixed (Parts & Service) software
• Calgary location preferred
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field
• Basic proficiency with Microsoft Excel and process mapping tools such as Lucidchart or Visio
• Familiarity with enterprise systems (e.g., CRM, ERP, PSA tools) is a plus
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Willingness to learn project delivery methodologies and enterprise business platforms
