YOUR MISSION
As a manufacturing engineer, your primary responsibility is to help customers reach their goals for implementing Nulogy Smart Factory. Specifically, determining what data is required from their machines and ensuring that data is being correctly collected.

This will require some ability to work with unfamiliar equipment to determine the best means for data collection. You may also be asked to contribute to other team goals and will be trained in these areas where necessary.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Understanding the customers goals
  • Training customers on how to setup Nulogy Smart Factory to reach their goals
  • Configuring sensors and servers to communicate with our customers' equipment.
  • Working with customers to ensure that all hardware can communicate back to Nulogy Smart Factory servers
  • Ensuring that customers are comfortable using Nulogy Smart Factory via training
  • Helping customers understand their data and encouraging best practices
  • Supporting customers with any issues that arise
  • Training customers on Nulogy Smart Factory
  • Understanding the customers goals and ensuring the software is configured to meet those goals.
  • Configure and deploy sensor hardware
  • Setup direct communication with control systems on customer equipment, this included PLCs, controllers and existing outputs.
  • Setup communication of data collected to Nulogy Smart Factory servers
  • Work with the customers’ maintenance team and IT team in the above tasks
  • Travel up to 50%

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • 3+ years experience in manufacturing
  • Ability to read schematics
  • Experience or education/training working with control systems & industrial sensors
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Basic knowledge of networking.
  • Basic knowledge of PLC Programming
  • Willingness to learn configuration best practices for the Nulogy Smart Factory software
  • Comfortable leading customer training sessions
  • Effective communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Driver’s license and passport
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) abilities, including verbal and written communication skills, are a plus
