Qualifications

• PhD in Psychology, Social Work or Clinical/Counselling Psychology
• Minimum five years of post-secondary teaching experience
• Commitment to student experience and Universal Design for Learning (UDL)
• Experience with current assessment methodologies and technologies in teaching
• Proven ability to work with diverse stakeholders

Responsibilities

• Create and revise course outlines
• Update course content, activities, tests and rubrics
• Maintain courses on the DC Connect LMS
• Foster an inclusive learning environment for diverse learners
• Apply adult learning principles to engage students
• Use educational technologies to manage grades and deliver online/hybrid courses
• Develop curriculum aligned with program goals and outcomes
• Collaborate with faculty, staff and external stakeholders
