Job summary

Turning Leaf Community Support Services Inc. invites applications for a Training and Development Coordinator in Winnipeg. You will design and deliver engaging training programs, support the LMS, coordinate courses, and maintain training records to foster continuous learning and employee growth.

You will liaise with staff and external trainers, handle logistics and budgeting, and ensure inclusive, accessible learning while promoting social justice and equity within our organization.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• Cover letter and updated resume.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience designing and delivering corporate learning programs.
• Experience with Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Teams).
• Strong understanding of adult learning principles and how to design effective training programs.
• Strong working proficiency in course authoring tools and at least one Learning Management System.
• Direct knowledge or experience identifying training needs, creating training materials, and delivering training sessions is an asset.
• Valid driver’s license with access to a reliable vehicle.
• Clear Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Check (no older than six months).
• Clear Adult Abuse Registry Check (no older than three months).
• Clear Child Abuse Registry Checks (no older than three months).
• Three employment references.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deliver comprehensive training programs, including e-learning modules and blended learning approaches.
• Facilitate interactive, engaging training sessions for employees at all levels.
• Monitor and evaluate learning offerings based on learner feedback.
• Seek innovative ways to deliver training (e-learning, webinars, videos, e-books).
• Coordinate training sessions, invitations, rooms, equipment, catering.
• Support learners with applications for certification or card distribution.
• Maintain records of training completion and update LMS content.
• Prepare training materials and coordinate logistics for events.
