Job summary

Michael House Pregnancy Care Centre in Guelph, Ontario is hiring a Fundraising & Events Coordinator. This part-time role (30 hours/week) reports to the Executive Director and works from our office at 187 Bristol St. You will drive fundraising plans, manage events, and build partnerships to sustain revenue streams.

The ideal candidate has a fundraising background, strong communication skills, proficiency with Keela and Microsoft Office, and a valid driver’s license. In-person work is required.

Qualifications

• College or University diploma, or equivalent experience in fundraising.
• Ability to work with partners and initiate new contacts for sponsorships and corporate relationships.
• Exceptional, authentic communicator both orally and in writing with staff, volunteers and sponsors.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, Teams, Keela, Excel and Word.
• Able to perform occasional physical tasks for event setup and tear-down.
• Valid driver’s license is required.

Responsibilities

• Develop proposals and sponsorship packages for events and funders.
• Plan and execute fundraising activities and events.
• Coordinate with volunteers and manage event teams and budgets.
• Build donor relationships and track deliverables in the donor database.
• Report on fundraising progress and participate in strategy meetings.
• Support content creation for website, newsletters, and social media.
