Job summary

Mount Carmel Clinic is seeking an Early Childhood Educator (ECE) II to join a dedicated team delivering age-appropriate programming for children in our Early Learning & Parenting programs. You will assess each child's needs, plan developmentally informed activities, and foster a clean, safe environment that promotes positive social, physical, emotional and cognitive growth.

Qualifications

• ECE II or ECE III classification from the Manitoba Child Care Program.
• Current Infant/Child First Aid and CPR Certificate.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience working with children in a childcare facility.
• Demonstrated understanding of child development theory and principles and ability to apply it in practice.
• Experience supervising and engaging children throughout the day, during transitions, activities and play.
• Ability to use a range of child development approaches and techniques to support each child.
