Job summary

Make-A-Wish Canada is seeking a Manager, Community Partnerships in Dartmouth for a full-time, hybrid role. You will drive revenue growth by planning and executing first-party fundraising events and campaigns while leading third-party initiatives.

You will build relationships with donors, partners, volunteers and vendors, manage regions, track revenue against targets and ensure high data integrity in Salesforce. The role includes travel and occasional evenings. Salary range is $83,000-$93,000.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education in Fundraising, Marketing, Communications, or Event Management.
• Experience in fundraising, events, donor relations, or community engagement.
• Experience with CRM systems (Salesforce preferred) and MS Office.
• Experience in non-profit organizations is preferred.
• Strong event planning, sponsorship cultivation, and donor stewardship.
• Excellent communication skills for public speaking and media.
• Access to reliable transportation for office/events.
• Criminal background check required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement regional fundraising plans for first- and third-party initiatives.
• Plan and manage all aspects of first-party events, including logistics, budgets, vendor coordination.
• Oversee and support delivery of community-led fundraising events.
• Track revenue progress and help achieve annual and multi-year fundraising targets.
• Build and steward relationships with community partners, donors, sponsors, and supporters.
• Represent the Foundation in the community and raise awareness.
