Job summary

Catholic Social Services in Red Deer is seeking a contract, full-time Team Leader for the Immigration and Settlement Service. This role provides leadership, supervision, and support to staff to ensure successful program delivery and outcomes.

Requirements include a degree in Human Services and at least 2 years of supervisory experience. A drivers licence and vehicle are required to transport clients, with vehicle insurance proofs as applicable.

Qualifications

Degree in Human Services, Social Services, Social Work or equivalent.
2 years of supervisory experience.
Experience with newcomers to Canada is an asset.
Certifications or designations are considered an asset.
Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered.

Responsibilities

Oversee day-to-day operations of the program to ensure client service planning and staff coverage.
Supervise and provide leadership, training, and support to team members; onboarding, training, and performance coaching.
Prepare and submit relevant reports to the Program Manager in a timely manner.
Develop guidelines and procedures for new and existing programs and services.
Represent the Agency in community groups and committees to promote good public relations.
