Job summary

Catholic Social Services in Red Deer is seeking a contract, full-time Team Leader for the Immigration and Settlement Service. This role provides leadership, supervision, and support to staff to ensure successful program delivery and outcomes.

Requirements include a degree in Human Services and at least 2 years of supervisory experience. A drivers licence and vehicle are required to transport clients, with vehicle insurance proofs as applicable.

Qualifications

• Degree in Human Services, Social Services, Social Work or equivalent.
• 2 years of supervisory experience.
• Experience with newcomers to Canada is an asset.
• Certifications or designations are considered an asset.
• Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of the program to ensure client service planning and staff coverage.
• Supervise and provide leadership, training, and support to team members; onboarding, training, and performance coaching.
• Prepare and submit relevant reports to the Program Manager in a timely manner.
• Develop guidelines and procedures for new and existing programs and services.
• Represent the Agency in community groups and committees to promote good public relations.
