Job Title: Immigration Paralegal | Halifax, NS

Responsibilities
  • Review, organize, and analyze documents
  • Prepare immigration applications (temporary and permanent) and online work permit applications
  • Gather information and documentation from clients
  • Maintain communication and provide updates to clients
  • Process large volumes of documents using technology for storage and organization
  • Stay current with immigration law, regulations, and policies
  • Utilize technology efficiently
  • Perform general office and clerical duties, including billable and non-billable tasks
  • Perform other duties as required
Skills & Qualifications
  • Paralegal diploma or equivalent; 3+ years of immigration paralegal experience
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel), with excellent typing and transcription skills
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent communication skills and a focus on customer service
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative
  • Willingness to learn and contribute to the team
