Job summary

Dexian is seeking an IMA Project Manager for a 12-month contract in Mississauga, Ontario. The role focuses on transformation and change management within Capital Markets, addressing regulatory, audit, risk and control issues.

You will collaborate with Global Markets stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical specs and manage dependencies across Risk, Front Office, Product Control and Technology.

Qualifications

• 10-15 years of relevant industry experience.
• Experience delivering IMA components (ES, NMRF, RFET, PLAT).
• Strong Market Risk experience and familiarity with HVaR model management.
• Experience with FRTB and other front-office driven regulatory initiatives.
• Experience with derivatives trading, risk and P&L flows.
• Excellent oral and written communications; ability to present to senior stakeholders.

Hiring: IMA(Internal Models Approach)Project Manager

Location: Mississauga, ON (Hybrid)

Duration: 12 Months

Primary Responsibilities:

• Transformation / change management / PM experience with a focus on Capital Markets initiatives to address regulatory, audit, risk and control and / or risk management issues
• Working knowledge of Markets business, products, regulatory capital and Market Risk (VaR) or Credit risk
• Ability to influence and build collaborative relationships across Global Markets front-to-back stakeholders, e.g., trading desk, finance, operations, technology, risk management
• Manage multiple stakeholders to derive business requirements and assist Technology in understanding to allow them to translate into technical requirements
• Manage internal and external dependencies across initiatives, including working closely with Risk Managers, Product Owners, Front Office, Product Control and Technology teams
• Identify challenges and proactively seek to resolve or elevate risk and issues in a timely and well-articulated manner to the projects by engaging relevant stakeholders and PMs
• Produce accurate and insightful project update materials and artifacts, tailoring to various forums and committees
• Build strong relationships, adopting a joined-up approach, to support the execution of programs

Key Skills Required

• Experience with delivering IMA specific components (ES, NMRF, RFET, PLAT, etc )
• Strong Market Risk Experience and familiar with HVaR model management
• Experience with FRTB and/or other material front office driven regulatory initiatives
• Experience with derivatives trading, risk and P&L flows
• Strong & proven track record in strategic project management and delivering complex solutions are essential
• Has significant experience in Capital Markets Transformation
• Excellent oral and written communications skills; must be articulate and persuasive with the judgement and authority to provide insightful commentary to senior stakeholders
• A solid understanding of mechanisms to track and communicate performance
• Ability to drive change to business practices by working effectively across a global organization and understand different perspectives
• Thought leadership in target state design through engaging stakeholders at various levels of the organization
• Demonstrated analytical skills with follow-up and problem-solving capability
• Minimum of 10-15 years of relevant industry experience
