Job summary

Foresight Academy 仕林设计学院 in Vancouver seeks an Illustration Instructor to work with high school students on portfolio development for college applications. You will guide projects in illustration, concept art and fine arts, helping students craft original concepts and compelling portfolios for admission.

This part-time position requires in-person teaching on Sundays at our Vancouver campus, with a focus on clear feedback, student growth, and creative storytelling.

About the Role

Foresight Academy is seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Illustration Instructor to work with high school students developing portfolios for college and university applications. The instructor will guide students through portfolio projects in areas such as:

• Illustration
• Concept art
• Fine arts

Responsibilities

• Provide engaging, project-based instruction to high school students
• Guide students in developing original concepts and portfolio works for university application
• Offer clear, constructive feedback on students’ creative development and technical execution
• Help students strengthen their artistic process, visual storytelling, and presentation skills

This is a teaching-focused position and does not include administrative or parent-communication responsibilities.

Qualifications

• A strong professional portfolio demonstrating relevant creative and technical skills
• Ability to explain artistic concepts clearly and provide constructive, encouraging feedback
• Ability to work effectively with high school students at different skill levels
• Availability to teach in person on Sundays at our Vancouver campus

Preferred Qualifications

• Three or more years of professional industry experience
• Currently working professionally in illustration, concept art, visual development, animation, or a related creative field
• Previous teaching or mentoring experience is an asset but is not required
