Job summary

The IDD Director will lead technical work streams across the full project lifecycle, ensuring compliant, high‑quality design delivery. Reporting to the VP of IDD & Geomatics, the role requires on‑site leadership, engineering expertise, and strong communication.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience leading engineering and IDD functions in construction.
• Engineering degree or equivalent combination of training and experience.
• Experience across all stages of a project lifecycle.
• On-site construction experience is desired.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and coordination across all technical work streams from design through construction.
• Manage engineering disciplines, design management, digital engineering, sustainability, surveying, asset management.
• Ensure design meets project specifications, codes, and standards.
• Deliver IDD in line with BIM processes and support future developments.
• Set resourcing for the IDD team and mentor managers and coordinators.
• Foster an inclusive culture and promote career progression.
