Job summary

Brockton School in North Vancouver, BC, is seeking a full-time PYP Grade 2 Homeroom Teacher to cover a maternity leave from January 25, 2027 to June 30, 2027. You will collaborate with a teaching partner, the JK–Grade 5 PYP team, and the Junior School Principal.

Applicants must hold BC Teaching Certification (Certificate of Qualification or Independent School Teaching Certificate) and a Bachelor's degree in education, with a strong knowledge of BC Curriculum.

Qualifications

• BC Teaching Certificate or Equivalent certification
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in education
• Interest in being part of a dynamic and visionary IB school community
• Excellent knowledge of the BC Curriculum and latest trends in educational research and pedagogy

Responsibilities

• Teach Grade 2 PYP in Junior School as part of a teaching team
• Collaborate with JK-Grade 5 PYP team and Junior School Principal
• Deliver student-centred instruction aligned with BC Curriculum
