Urban Academy in New Westminster, BC, seeks a dedicated Middle School Teacher (Grade 6) to cover a maternity leave starting January 2027 through June 2027, with potential extension to December 2027.

You will plan and deliver Socials and English, assess using BC curriculum, collaborate with colleagues, and support student life through clubs and supervision, while fostering inclusive, inquiry-based learning.

Competenze

• BC Ministry of Education Certificate or Independent School Certification; please indicate TRB # on application (L or J followed by 6 digits).
• Strong knowledge of BC Ministry of Education practices and current educational standards.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Superior EQ: self-awareness, self-management, social agility, impact and influence.
• Strong knowledge of educational IT applications and assistive technologies.
