Job summary

LifeLabs is seeking an Identity & Access Management (IAM) Analyst to join the Cyber Team. You will manage the lifecycle of digital identities, provisioning, access reviews, and CIAM program support across cloud and on-prem environments.

Key responsibilities include administering IAM/CIAM platforms, coordinating with IT and security stakeholders, and ensuring regulatory compliance through identity governance and strong access controls. Strong communication and collaboration skills are required.

Qualifications

Job Title: Identity & Access Management (IAM) Analyst

Reports to: Senior Manager, Cloud Services and Security

Vacancy status: This posting is for an existing position.

Purpose of the Role

The IAM Analyst is a subject matter expert in IAM and CIAM standards, processes, approaches, and technologies. This role will be responsible for provisioning/deprovisioning of various types of accounts; as well as access review / recertification process.

This position will primarily support the identity and access management program and the overall CIAM program. The objective is to manage the lifecycle of digital identities and access while achieving security, business goals / objectives, productivity and regulatory compliances.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Provide administration, operational support, and maintenance for LifeLabs’ Identity and Access Management (IAM) and Customer Identity and Access Management (CIAM) platforms and services.
• Manage the identity lifecycle, including account provisioning, deprovisioning, access modifications, access requests, certifications, and joiner/mover/leaver processes.
• Administer and support identity platforms, authentication services, privileged access management (PAM), Single Sign-On (SSO), Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), and identity governance solutions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve IAM and CIAM incidents, authentication issues, access-related problems, provisioning failures, and application integration challenges.
• Support the implementation, integration, and continuous improvement of IAM and CIAM processes, controls, standards, and technologies.
• Collaborate with business units, application teams, cloud and infrastructure teams, security operations, and GRC stakeholders to deliver secure identity and access solutions.
• Support application, API, and cloud service integrations using industry-standard identity and authentication protocols.
• Maintain technical documentation, procedures, configuration records, and operational processes for IAM and CIAM technologies.
• Meet established service level agreements (SLAs), operational targets, and service delivery expectations for IAM and CIAM services.
• Configure, document, maintain, and promote IAM and CIAM best practices across diverse business units, applications, and technology environments.
• Contribute to IAM security, risk management, regulatory compliance, privacy, and audit-related activities.
• Administer and support identity platforms and tools used for account provisioning, access management, authentication, authorization, and identity governance.
• Perform provisioning and deprovisioning of standard and privileged accounts across on-premises and cloud environments.
• Support privileged access management (PAM) processes, including the administration and management of privileged accounts and credentials.
• Provide recommendations on ways to improve the overall CIAM Program
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior analysts within the overall Cyber Team.

What you bring to the role:

• 5 – 6 years of hands on experience supporting a CIAM / IAM Program
• Must have 5 years of Information Security experience.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science (preferred), information assurance, MIS or related field, or equivalent; Masters is a plus.
• One or more of the following is preferred:
  • Certified Identity and Access Manager (CIAM)
  • Certified Identity Management Professional (CIMP)
• Experience in Active Directory and Entra Id is a mandatory requirement.
• IAM Products and Solutions (ie. SailPoint, AD/LDAP, Entra Id, Privileged Access (PAM), SSO, MFA Strategies) is considered an asset
• Hands on experience with AD and Entra ID is considered an asset.
• Hands on experience with SailPoint and Auth0 or equivalent IAM tooling is considered an asset.
• Understanding of RESTful APIs, web services, application authentication, authorization, tokens, session management, and secure application integrations.
• Knowledge of identity and access security principles, application security, privacy, regulatory compliance, and risk management.
• Technical knowledge of the following: IAM platforms: SailPoint, Secret Server, Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID or equivalent enterprise IAM products.
• Strong communication, analytical, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities while maintaining a strong focus on security and service delivery.
• Experience with administration of CIAM Tools (Auth 0) & CIAM Processes.
• Ability to effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical teams. Can effectively negotiate with stakeholders, understanding the needs of all parties, managing risk and product delivery.
• Excellent customer service skills with ability to understand impact to customers.
• Demonstrate good judgement, a sense of urgency and commitment to high standards, ethics, regulatory compliance, and business integrity.
