Job summary

Birch Mountain Enterprises LP is hiring a Working Foreman for Hydrovac on a temporary 3 month project at Fort McMurray, AB. The role includes a 14 on/7 off day and night shift with no flights or camp provided. Potential to transition to full-time for the right candidate.

Responsibilities include operating tri-drive hydroVac units, providing leadership to a team, and assisting with training. Candidates should have a valid Class 3 license and prior hydro-vac experience in industrial settings.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 3 operator’s license with clean driver’s abstract.
• Minimum 3 years experience operating hydrovac or related vacuum units.
• Some leadership/supervisor experience.
• Harsh weather work prep and physical capability.

Responsibilities

• Operate tri-drive hydroVac units safely and efficiently.
• Provide strong leadership to employees on site.
• Assist with training of new hires and ensure compliance with safety protocols.

Job Summary:

Operating from ourClients site location Fort McMurray the Hydro Vac Operatorposition involves the safe operation ofa tri-drive hydroVacunit.Operators should be mechanically inclinedand physically fit to work in all kinds of weather.Preference will be given to candidates that possess previous hydro-vac experiencein the industrial sector.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• OperateTri-drive hydroVacunitsin a safe and efficientmanner
• Provide strong leadership to employees.
• Assist with training new hires.

• Must be physically able to perform tasks and work in allweather.
• Completion of daily documentation including but not limited to dailylogbooks, customer work orders, field level risk assessment, pre/post tripinspections.
• Follow instructions for tasks assigned by Dispatch or Supervisor.
• Complete daily housekeeping of assigned truck to ensure maintenance of companyimage.
• Attend dailytoolboxand safety meetings as scheduled and adhere to corporate and site safety regulations and procedures.

• Maintain and operate all BME tools and equipment to the required standards andprocedures.
• Ensure that all training is keptcurrent.
• Follow all TDG and WHMIS standards andregulations.
• Seek out continuous improvementopportunities.
• Provide customer-focused services in allactivities.

Qualifications:

• Possess a valid Class 3operator’s license with clean driver’sabstract
• Minimum3 years experience (including up to 18 speed manual class 1 equipment)
• Previous or relatedexperience operating at least three of these types of units:Water, Vacuum, Hydro, orComboVac units.
• Some Leadership experience.
• Minedriveexperience.
• No Site bans.

• Clear verbal and written communication skills.
• OSSA (or BSO/CSO) and CSTS certification.
• H2S Alive.
• Must successfully pass BME driver’s evaluation, D&A, and fit for duty pre-employmentscreening.
