Job Description

In this role, you'll use high-pressure water and vacuum systems to dig precisely and efficiently, uncover utilities, and contribute to various construction projects. Salary: $26.20 - $36.68 per hour based on experience with many opportunities for career advancement! (Union wages and benefits vary based on union local and collective bargaining agreements)

Responsibilities

What You'll Be Doing:

• Operating hydrovac equipment and performing hydrovac duties in various environments, including confined spaces
• Driving hydrovac trucks (10-15% of work time)
• Attending safety meetings
• Performing routine inspections and minor repairs of equipment
• Preparing work areas with safety measures and hazard mitigation
• Accurately documenting and reporting all necessary paperwork

Qualifications

What We're Looking For:

• Valid 1, 3, or DZ license (A-D license in Ontario) with airbrake endorsement
• First aid, Ground Disturbance, and CSTS preferred (other safety tickets may be required based on location)
• Experience driving a manual transmission (10-18 speed)
• Ability to work variable shifts and extended hours
• Willingness to travel up to 25%
• Physical ability to lift, push, pull 50+ pounds and work in varying weather conditions
• Prior hydrovac operation or related industrial experience preferred
