Job summary

Sideworx Connect is seeking skilled Hydrovac Operators to join our roster. We offer positions for both employees and independent contractors with control over your schedule and exposure to a variety of projects.

You will drive and operate hydrovac trucks, perform excavation tasks, and ensure completion of hydro excavation processes while adhering to safety policies and regulations. Travel and living allowances may apply depending on assignments.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 3 License with Airbrake Endorsement required.
• H2S Alive certification required.
• Standard First Aid & CPR – Level C required.
• Common Safety Orientation (CSO) required.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test.

Responsibilities

• Drive the hydrovac truck to and from the job site.
• Operate the hydrovac truck on site.
• Dig and direct swampers as needed.
• Ensure hydro excavation processes are completed correctly.
• Deliver high-quality work while maintaining efficiency.
• Comply with company policies, health and safety guidelines, and TDG/WHMIS regulations.
• Be willing to work a 12-hour rotating shift (night/weekends/holidays).
• Travel may be required; some jobs may offer a Living Out Allowance.

Job description

We’re seeking skilled Hydrovac Operators to join our roster.

Job Duties/Responsibilities

• Drive the hydrovac truck to and from the site
• Operate the hydrovac truck
• Dig and direct swampers
• Ensure the successful completion of hydro excavation processes
• Provide high-quality work while working efficiently
• Comply with company policies and procedures, health and safety procedures, department of transportation, and hazardous/waste requirement regulations
• Willingness to work a 12-hour rotating shift schedule (including night, weekends, holidays, and overtime)
• Travel is required and certain jobs may be eligible for Living Out Allowance
