Job summary

Ambipar Response Industrial Services Canada Inc. in Fort St. John, BC is seeking operators for Hydrovac and Combo Truck Units on local projects. Responsibilities include operating equipment, safe maintenance, daily tickets, and active participation in safety meetings.

Candidates should hold a Class 1 or 3 licence with Air Brakes, 18-speed transmission experience, and safety tickets (First Aid, H2S). Training opportunities are offered with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Class 1 or 3 Driver Licence with Air Brakes.
• 18 Speed Transmission Experience.
• Clean commercial drivers abstract.
• Instructor certified First Aid & H2S Alive.
• Confined Space.
• PCST, PST, CSTS, Fall Protection, Ground Disturbance considered assets.
• Hydrovac or Combo Operating Experience on Daylighting, Plant & Pipeline HDD Projects considered an asset.
• Ability to pass pre-employment Fit to Work & Drug Alcohol Testing.
• Training Opportunities will be offered to Qualified Individuals.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment as per company and customer expectations.
• Maintain equipment in accordance with company and manufacturer rules.
• Follow the safety program, including all policies, procedures and practices.
• Complete Daily Field Tickets, Logbooks, Pre-trips, Hazard Assessments.
• Attend daily safety meetings.
• Maintain valid safety tickets as required.
• Provides leadership, guidance, and mentorship to assisting Swampers.

Our services are utilized on many different projects ranging from Downhole Drilling, Pipeline HDD, Daylighting and Civil Construction Projects.

While operating our units you will have 24/7 support from our Maintenance, Safety and Operations Departments.

This application will list you as interested in operating Hydrovac and Combo Truck Units on current projects locally in the Fort St.John BC area.
