Job summary

eBrandon is hiring Hydrovac Operators for Manitoba with 10-hour day shifts, four days per week. Overtime and housing/LOA are provided for eligible candidates. You will perform hydro-excavation, power washing, PPE compliance, and complete daily safety forms.

Training is available for licensure and you will work in a team environment with clear, professional communication to maintain safety on all sites.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Class 1 or Class 3 license with air (training offered).
• Candidate must pass pre-employment criminal record check.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and work on your feet for long periods.
• Willing to work in all weather conditions and maintain PPE at all times.
• Good communication skills and willingness to work as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Operate hydro-vac units for hydro-excavation and related tasks.
• Perform power washing and equipment maintenance as required.
• Complete daily Job Hazard Assessment forms and ensure site safety.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and comply with PPE requirements.
• Collaborate with team members to complete tasks efficiently and safely.

Job description

Hydrovac operators perform activities including hydro-excavating, power washing, filling out daily Job Hazard Assessment forms, maintaining a safe working environment, maintaining equipment, working in a team environment, and other tasks as required. Clear and professional communication is key to safety and is required on all of our job sites.

• Wage: $22-32 per hour, depending on experience.
• 10-hour day shifts, 4 days per week (Monday to Thursday), with occasional extensions to Fridays.
• LOA and housing provided for candidates living more than 100km from site.
• Overtime pay available.

General Requirements and Expectations

• Class 1 or 3 License with air required ? We are willing to train applicants with these licenses.
• All applicants must provide and pass a pre-employment criminal record check.
• Perform physically demanding work ? applicants should be able to lift 50lbs, work on their feet for long periods of time.
• Ability to work in all weather conditions.
• Maintain a positive and professional attitude and appearance.
• Employees are required to maintain a safe work environment and wear proper PPE at all times while on the job.
