Job summary

Hatch, a global employee-owned firm, seeks a Digital Consulting Leader for HydroPower in Mississauga. You will originate and lead end-to-end digital engagements, blending sales with delivery to drive measurable client value and growth.

In this hybrid role, you will build high-performing teams, shape solutions across MES/OT, AI, and analytics, and represent Hatch at client forums. Strong commercial acumen, leadership, and 12–18 years in HydroPower are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant engineering and computer science discipline.
• 12 to 18 years HydroPower operations and operational excellence experience.
• Experience in business development and delivery leadership of complex multi-disciplinary HydroPower digital & operational transformation projects / engagements
• Strong track record in selling and delivering digital/Industry solutions in industrial and operational environments with a focus on HydroPower operations.
• Deep understanding of MES/MOS, Control Systems, IT/OT Integration, AI and APC; Analytics, Optimisation, Automation or Solution Architecture of Digital Platforms.
• Proven ability to lead teams and deliver outcomes in complex, multi-stakeholder environments.
• Demonstrate proven project management and delivery of digital or AI led initiatives in the mining sector.

Responsibilities

• Lead end to end consulting engagements, from opportunity identification through to delivery and value realisation.
• Originate and close new business while ensuring strong delivery governance and execution excellence.
• Develop client-centric solutions and execution strategies aligned to operational priorities.
• Build and manage high-performing delivery teams, including internal specialists and external partners.
• Drive account growth by delivering value and expanding client relationships.
• Act as a trusted advisor to senior client stakeholders.
