Job summary

ANDRITZ Canada is seeking a winding supervisor to lead on-site stator/rotor winding activities for hydro generators. You will coordinate tooling, verify installation instructions, and provide technical support while ensuring quality through ITP records.

The role requires 5+ years in winding, an electrician diploma is a plus, and strong English/French communication. Expect a fast-paced environment with emphasis on teamwork and safety.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of experience in stator/rotor winding.
• Electrician diploma is an asset.
• Understand assembly of mechanical and electrical components.
• Good English and French (oral and written).
• Hands-on mentality and practical problem solving.
• Basic MS Office skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise on-site stator winding work for hydro generators.
• Assist other engineers with tooling preparation.
• Prepare or check installation instructions for windings.
• Provide technical support on stator/rotor winding.
• Troubleshoot insulation faults and repairs.
• Record and verify winding work per ITP.
• Support and advise on winding sections in ITP.
• Handle LMS, daily logs, and weekly reports.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
