Job summary

ANDRITZ Canada is seeking a Site Installation Project Coordinator to plan, coordinate and lead the installation of hydroelectric site works. The role involves collaboration with the installation coordinators, site managers and project team, with a hybrid office/home pattern in Pointe-Claire, Canada.

The ideal candidate has 5–10 years of hydroelectric installation site experience, strong leadership, and fluency in French and English along with proficiency in MS Office and Primavera P6.

Qualifications

• Five (5) to ten (10) years working experience on hydroelectric installation site as site manager or supervisor.
• Experience in electrical and piping BOP systems, including field supervision and coordination of construction activities (an asset).
• Proven leadership ability within a team context.
• Excellent understanding and knowledge of hydroelectric turbines and generators.
• Strong French and English proficiency, both oral and written.
• Strong working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project).
• Strong knowledge of Primavera P6.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, teamwork skills and autonomy.
• Ability to multitask and shift between many different projects and initiatives with tight deadlines.
• Strong customer service orientation.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and lead the installation of the site works for hydroelectric projects.
• Collaborate with installation coordinators, site managers and supervisors, and the project management team.
• Prepare installation plans, estimates, schedules and budget reviews.
• Coordinate preparation of installation manuals and related documents.
• Prepare site staffing plans and procurement lists; coordinate subcontractors when needed.
• Monitor execution, progress updates and cost analyses.
