Job summary

ANDRITZ Canada is seeking an experienced procurement specialist to execute sourcing, award and fulfillment for fabrication components, materials and services. You will negotiate prices, manage POs, and coordinate with project teams to ensure timely deliveries in a hybrid work setup.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in purchasing, strong negotiation skills, and bilingual English/French capabilities, with experience in SAP and materials used in hydro industry projects.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in a similar purchasing role and experience with fabrication materials.
• Experience negotiating prices and terms; ability to read shop drawings is a plus.
• Familiarity with SAP purchasing software and LMS documentation is helpful.
• Proficiency in English and French, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Source and negotiate pricing with suppliers.
• Manage, issue and revise purchase orders and ensure timely delivery.
• Notify suppliers of drawings revisions and PO impacts.
• Enforce commercial terms, conditions, and contractual requirements.
• Prepare offer evaluations and recommendations.
• Coordinate with project team and engineers on budgets and delivery dates.
• Reconcile invoices with accounts payable and provide documentation.
• Support field site teams for urgent purchases.
