Job summary
Motion Industries seeks a Technical Services Specialist to deliver on-site hydraulic expertise for pre- and post-sales support. You will perform hydraulic calculations, design circuits, and create schematics for customer applications, including 3D modelling of systems and manifolds.
You will develop test procedures, author engineering manuals, and assist field staff. Travel to customer sites/branches is required; collaboration with Motion groups will enable turnkey solutions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business or related field with 2–5 years of related experience or equivalent.
Responsibilities
- Provide on-site fluid power technical support for staff and customers.
- Perform hydraulic calculations and design fluid power circuits to meet applications.
- Create hydraulic schematics and select components as required.
- 3D modelling of hydraulic systems and manifolds.
- Develop test procedures and assist in testing custom fluid power packages.
- Prepare engineering manuals and provide field service support as needed.
- Collaborate with other Motion groups to deliver turnkey solutions.
- Travel required to customer sites and branches.
