Job summary

City of Brantford seeks a Compensation Specialist to administer and implement the compensation program, including job evaluation, market reviews, and salary administration. You will provide guidance on compensation strategy and ensure data integrity across processes.

Responsibilities include leading pay equity initiatives, benchmarking, and supporting large compensation redesign projects while maintaining confidential information and data accuracy.

Qualifications

• Must possess a degree and/or diploma in related fields such as Human Resources/Business Administration.
• Minimum three years of progressive human resources experience managing job evaluation and compensation programs and administration.
• Experience in job analysis, job evaluation principles, and pay equity compliance.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the City's compensation programs and procedures with data-driven recommendations.
• Serve as primary contact for compensation matters for all staff.
• Lead job evaluation processes (union and non-union) and educate managers and employees.
