Job summary

CIBC is seeking a Manager, Candidate Care and Talent Acquisition Operations in Toronto to lead the Candidate Care Specialist team, drive process improvements, and oversee training resources for the broader TA function. You’ll manage escalations, deliver data-driven insights, and support change initiatives to strengthen operational effectiveness.

You will work in a hybrid environment with on-site and remote days, coaching colleagues and aligning recruitment operations with strategic goals.

Qualifications

• Experience in talent acquisition operations or process improvement.
• Ability to support recruitment or talent functions while balancing day-to-day leadership and long-term improvements.
• Experience with Workday from a Talent Acquisition perspective is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support the Candidate Care Specialist team with coaching, direction, and day-to-day guidance.
• Manage escalations and remove barriers to deliver a consistent, high-quality candidate experience.
• Own reporting for the Candidate Care function and translate insights into actions to improve efficiency and service.
• Design, coordinate, and deliver operational training for the broader TA team; create and maintain resources (QRGs, docs, trainings).
• Support operational change management with communications and implementation assistance for new processes and tools.
• Identify opportunities to improve workflows, controls, and efficiency; explore automation and AI for candidate experience enhancements.
• Build and maintain relationships with TA leaders, recruiters, and internal partners to align solutions and drive initiatives.
