Job summary

Thales in Ottawa, Canada is seeking a Supply Chain Engineer / Supply Chain Engineering Analyst to lead material support planning, BOM optimization, and cost-efficient procurement for service delivery. The role involves collaboration with LCMM, ILS, and procurement teams, with a focus on data accuracy and timely materiel support.

The position is hybrid, with occasional domestic travel, and requires experience in Logistics Support Analysis and familiarity with SAP/Maximo/OmegaPS/DRMIS.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level engineering degree or technologist diploma in mechanical, electrical, electronic, industrial, reliability or naval engineering.
• Five years or more experience conducting Logistics Support Analysis in maintenance and supply support of complex systems or equipment.
• Strong Excel skills and MS Office proficiency.
• Language: English (Essential), French (Desirable).

Responsibilities

• Coordinate LCMM Team, ILS specialists, Procurement staff, Ship Support, and the Customer to implement Material Support solutions.
• Manage Material Requirements Planning entitlements for storerooms and maintain BOMs and material master data.
• Lead improvement projects and ensure accurate material logistics attributes and KPIs are reported.
• Support obsolescence replacement/Alternate Part Approval requests and assist with sourcing and supplier requests.
• Provide second-level support to Procurement and Warehouse staff and participate in regular team meetings.
