Job summary

BrandSafway is hiring an Engineer II to design engineered construction access and shoring solutions. You will work with branch sales and field teams to deliver safe, efficient designs using the BrandSafway product portfolio.

The role involves performing calculations, creating design drawings with Revit/AutoCAD, and coordinating with Senior Engineers and Centers of Excellence. Occasional site visits are expected and there is a strong emphasis on safety and collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering with structural emphasis.
• Licensed Professional Engineer (P.Eng) in any province.
• 5–10 years of relevant experience.
• Proficient in CAD and 3D modeling (Revit, AutoCAD).
• Proficient with structural analysis and FEA software.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare drawings submittals using Revit and AutoCAD per codes and standards.
• Perform engineering analysis and design for access systems.
• Use software like RISA, SCIA, TEDDS, ENERCALC to support design.
• Provide technical support to branches and sites.
• Collaborate with Product Development for custom solutions.
