Alithya in Toronto is seeking a Business System Analyst, Capital Markets to analyze and optimize front- and middle-office processes across derivatives, fixed income, equities and money market products.

You will collaborate with trading, risk and operations teams, translate business requirements into technical solutions, and support system implementations and UAT for ongoing improvements. This role blends business analysis with IT delivery in a hybrid Toronto setting.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, finance, business or a related field.
• 5 to 7 years of experience as a business analyst.
• Minimum 1 year of experience working with front & middle office for capital markets.
• Experience with financial software systems and platforms.
• Proficiency in business analysis tools and methodologies.
• Proven experience with SQL, including querying and data analysis.
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements in capital markets.

Responsabilidades

• Analyze and document business requirements for front- and middle-office processes across derivatives, fixed income, equities and money market products.
• Collaborate with trading, risk and operations teams to ensure seamless integration and functionality of systems.
• Develop detailed business and functional specifications aligned with business objectives.
• Conduct gap analysis and identify areas for process improvement and optimization.
• Support the implementation of new systems and enhancements, minimizing disruption to operations.
• Translate business requirements into technical solutions with IT/development teams.
• Participate in testing and user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Stay informed on industry trends, regulatory changes and best practices in capital markets.
