Job summary

The Canadian Red Cross is seeking a Senior Program Coordinator to support the planning, coordination and implementation of social emergency response initiatives in Canada. This role focuses on rapid mobilization of resources, developing response protocols, and providing direct service delivery, including training and social emergency response.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4-5 years' experience and 1-2 year post-secondary certification/diploma or equivalent.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint) and SharePoint is required.
• Experience with Indigenous communities or organizations in a culturally safe, respectful manner.

Responsibilities

• Support planning and implementation of the SE response strategy reflecting cultural inclusion and safety.
• Support monitoring of SE response structure, timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
• Assist with logistics, procurement and administrative needs for SE responses.
• Coordinate technical support requests and access to resources.
• Organize meetings, briefings and key response activities with proper documentation.
