Job summary

Canadian Red Cross is seeking a Senior Project Manager to oversee a portfolio of strategic initiatives focused on quality, evaluation, and operational improvement within Recovery Services. The role requires coordinating resources, timelines, risks, and delivering outcomes.

You will lead integrated plans, manage budgets, engage diverse stakeholders, and drive adoption of project changes in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment in Canada.

Occasional travel within Canada may be required.

Qualifications

• A minimum six to nine years of progressive project management experience.
• Experience leading large-scale, multi-stakeholder initiatives.
• PMI certification or equivalent designation required or preferred.

Responsibilities

• Define project objectives, scope and execution roadmaps aligned with priorities.
• Lead execution, ensuring on-time, on-scope and on-budget delivery.
• Develop integrated project plans, schedules, budgets and risks.
• Engage diverse stakeholders to drive alignment and decision-making.
• Monitor budgets and resource utilization; forecast funding requirements.
• Manage changes, assess risks and advise senior leadership.
• Lead change management activities to sustain outcomes.
• Coach project teams and foster accountability throughout lifecycle.
• Conduct reviews and lessons learned to improve practices.
