Job summary

SOFTLINE TECHNOLOGY is seeking a full-time on-site QA Tester in Toronto, ON to join a dynamic product team. You will collaborate with product managers and developers to design test strategies, create manual test scripts and data, and execute diverse testing types across front-end and back-end systems.

Strong knowledge of testing methodologies, automation tools, and Azure DevOps is required, along with excellent communication in English.

Qualifications

Knowledge of at least one programming language and testing methods in OO environments.
Experience with SQL/PLSQL for data extraction and analysis.
Experience using automated testing tools and DevOps-related testing.
Experience with Azure DevOps or equivalent for scripting and approvals.
Excellent written and verbal communication in English.
Experience with accessibility tools (JAWS/NVDA) and testing tools.

Responsibilities

Collaborates with product managers, owners, and technical teams to develop test strategies and plans.
Supports manual testing to create test scripts, cases, and scenarios.
Plans and creates test data for each test phase.
Executes tests across functional, integration, regression, load, performance, and accessibility testing.
Coordinates testing across front-end and back-end components/environments.
Documents test results and defects using Azure DevOps.
Participates in requirement workshops, sprint reviews, and walkthroughs.
Ensures quality throughout the agile/iterative lifecycle and post-release validation.
