Job summary

Choice Properties is seeking a Project Manager for its Toronto office to lead new-build commercial retail developments across Ontario and Eastern Canada. You will act as owner’s representative, manage budgets, schedules, design development, procurement, construction, and turnover, while coordinating with Leasing, Development, and Finance teams.

The role requires strong leadership, extensive construction experience, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of progressive construction project management experience including at least 5 years managing ICI ground-up construction projects.
• University degree and/or college diploma in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related discipline.
• PM, Gold Seal Certification, P.Eng. or equivalent designations considered an asset.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain project budgets and schedules informing Leasing negotiations and capital approvals.
• Support Leasing with technical review and negotiation of tenant lease terms.
• Manage procurement process including RFPs, bids, contracts and vendor awards.
• Lead project teams across architects, engineers, GC, municipalities, service providers and vendors with clear communication.
