Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking a Project Controls & Construction Coordinator in Canada to support pipeline, maintenance and heavy civil projects in a hybrid office/field/remote setting.

You will work with project managers, procurement, and field staff to ensure constructibility, proper resourcing, and alignment with schedules and execution plans. Proficiency in Amsio, Bluebeam, MS Project and Primavera is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in construction coordination, project controls, and scheduling.
• Experience in energy/heavy civil sector; create CEPs and WBS alignment.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office; Excel; Primavera; Amsio; Bluebeam.
• Field experience around pipeline or civil construction preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and execution of construction projects from inception to completion.
• Coordinate project schedules, resources, equipment, and information.
• Read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
• Use Amsio and Bluebeam for documentation and tracking.
• Collaborate with managers to prepare estimates and budgets using Projects and Primavera P6.
• Maintain stakeholder communication and monitor progress.
• Organize meetings, take minutes, and follow up on action items.
