Job summary

MatchBox Consulting Group is urgently seeking an Operations Support (Level 2) for a 6‑month contract with a high renewal probability, based in New Westminster. This hybrid role requires 2 days in the office and 3 days remote, with candidates located in the lower mainland.

The successful candidate will work with clients and internal technology teams, deliver applications and services, maintain system health, and provide ongoing operational support across the lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum three (3) years of recent experience supporting enterprise applications in an IT environment.
• Experience with ITIL, Modern Service Management, Lean, and DevOps.

Responsibilities

• Identify, propose, and implement new applications and services with clients and internal technology teams.
• Develop software customizations, interfaces, reports, and new applications where feasible.
• Maintain health of applications and provide technical support throughout lifecycle.
• Coordinate testing environments, develop test plans, and obtain client sign-off.
• Respond to emergency operational support requests as needed.
• Create and maintain system documentation and participate in change management.
