Qualifikationen

• PhD or MD with CCMG certification eligibility in Molecular Genetics (Essential).
• Experience in genetic laboratory screening and pediatric diagnostics (Essential).
• Excellent data analytics, statistics, and scripting skills (Preferred).
• Excellent oral and written communication skills (Essential).
• Demonstrated leadership skills (Essential).
• Criminal Record Check (Level 1) (Essential).
• Bilingualism (French/English) (Preferred).

Aufgaben

• Collaborate with molecular laboratory leadership to foster a positive, productive environment.
• Evaluate variants identified on testing and newborn screening.
• Review or draft diagnostic and screening reports with clinical content specialists.
• Identify workflow improvements and ensure timely diagnostic/screening volumes.
• Oversee assay development and validation for molecular lab.
• Participate in QA and proficiency activities.
• Contribute to scholarly program development in screening and diagnostics.
• Train fellows, residents, and students in genetics and pediatrics.
